How about removing the skin from chicken before marinating it? Does that help?

Thats a matter of personal preference.

When you marinade with skin you can make sure to get marinade under the skin and it'll all taste good. If you choose to remove the skin the marinade will just get the meat and that'll taste good too. I'm a stickler on my skin .I like it crisp, soggy marinaded or seasoned skin makes me want to :gag:. So there are plenty of times I'm like fukk it and just tear it all off.

@nikkahs B. Wildin What about cooking the meat while the meat is still in the marinade?

Don't do it! Always throw out your used chicken marinade, unless you want to risk getting salmonella.
When I make marinades, I usually reserve some to baste with if I'm baking or roasting poultry.

@Rollie Forbes you can use the marinade you soaked your chicken in. You just don't want to save it, like put it in a bottle or baggie or bowl and use it at another time.

What you said is perfect. Just baste it with the used, or use more of the same shyt from the bottle.

@satam55 you can cook it with the marinade like put everything in a crock pot or wrap some chicken in foil and pour some marinade in it and wrap it up. Or just grill and continue to baste.
