Correct.

You can use buttermilk or find a brine that you like and let it soak overnight in the fridge.
also.. if you dont happen to have buttermilk just laying around(which, most people dont)..

you can always use milk + lemon juice.. forgot the ratio, but its something like a 1cup milk + 1 tablespoon..

marinate/brine.

thing that turns most cats off from brining is the wait time.

depends on how you cook it.. also, marinating>>>>>seasoning..

with that said.. next time you fry some chicken.. add a pack of dry ranch dressing to the flour.. thats the "secret" to most "buttermilk" chicken.. :sas1:

Alright, I'mma try that.

yep overnight, but nope not just as good

Itll never be good as the skin.

But, you can poke holes in your chicken to help the seasoning absorb into the meat.
Good looks Imma try it. But after the skin sometimes i use to take the seasoning and just sprinkle it on the chicken meat like I was Tyrone Biggums or something. And it didn't taste as good either. it's a difference from letting the seasoning cook with the meat than throwing it on top of the meat later.

Easy clean up.
Trust, I know how much like roaches so of us can live. I have a cousin who would sit in her filth and eat cheesecake and watermelon with salt and not bathe....I know how LOW we can go. :snoop:

Im just saying, none of my Mississippi to Illinois family are that disgusting (with few exceptions). We will just get a LARGE BOWL and mix it in that. But as I said, some people like in the gutter and get used to the filth and laziness. :manny:

We dont let the LOWEST define who we are tho. #BlackFirst

Everything you've ever cooked or tasted is suddenly something new and wonderous :mjcry:
