Side story but my neighbor was a seal and changed drastically during training. Breh went from a surfing care free dude to trying to pick fights with everyone. He ended up shooting himself playing with a gun infront of chick faded :to:

Military got that kid :to: I remember him being fresh from Ohio and asking how to get bytches in Cali :sadcam:

Well, if that was indeed the case, I'd have done the same thing. You don't EVER salute a Non-Comm (I was a Corporal). They consider it disrespectful.

If you weren't in the Military, this joke won't make any sense....:pachaha:

When I was in BT my CCs would always say don't fukking salute me I work for a living :pachaha:

My DIs said the same shyt.

When it came to Chesty the Bulldog though...they would tell us that we would be in our best interest to jump on top of a grenade if we had to in order to save that dog's life :gladbron:

In private did Marines ever say

"man fukk Chesty"

Nah, we respected Chesty.

But sometimes we'd open up a USMC affiliated magazine or newspaper and see pictures of that motherfukker living the good life, attending parades, eating steak...and we're over here living like shyt, eating old ass MREs, and taking showers with baby wipes.

"That dog lives better than we do."

not every Marine gets brainwashed, some are more mentally tough than others but it does happen, like in Full Metal Jacket.

That wasn't 'brainwashing'. That fatbody just fukkin' snapped. Had two of 'em in my cycle: First one tried to escape PI by hopping on the roof of a bus and made it all the way to Quantico, Virginia. Second one lost it when the DI's wanted him to put his girl's photo on the 'hogboard' and ran full-speed into a bulkhead in the squadbay.

i believe that the army and the marines have the lowest minimum asvab scores for a reason. if you using the asvab as a measure of intelligence or critical thinking skills, its safe to say that the army and the marine corp don't really want people with either because they're more likely to able to think for themselves and excell at singular decisions. people like this don't make good soldiers because they're harder to brainwash or recondition, which ever term you prefer. the fact of the matter is that each branch of the military employs some brand of reconditioning or whatnot, but the marine corp and the army have an abundance of people who are more susceptible to reconditioning.

I think their shyt is like 30 now :aicmon: Now I've ran into intelligent marines but holy shyt you get points for putting your name on the sheet. I didn't study for that shyt and got like an 85 and they told "you can do anything in the military!" Naw I'll stay a reserve and stay in school sir:smugdraper:

but yeah this one cat I met at processing was already pretty gone. I told him I'm gonna hate boot camp since I'm a huge music head and will miss my ipod. This just seconds earlier cheery ass dude immediately looked me dead in the eye and told me "I don't need shyt! Not my music (dude was a guitarist), my girl, my homies...I'm going to be a fukking marine and serve my country. That's all I'll need!"

I hit him iwth the:childplease: while he continued to:hmm: waiting for me to agree lol. cool cat but I always tell peeps that you can't decide to be a marine. Them nikkas are straight up born that way. They crazy but I respect their grind.:myman:
