I have a friend named V, and we met when she was homeless. And she wasn’t on drugs, wasn’t a drunk. Just had no money and therefore slept outside and on the public transportation

Obviously we got more and more cool (still my friend right now) and doing better.

Ended up letting her shower at my crib helping her on her feet etc.

And she was the first person to break down how much the middle class punches down.
that the people who do majority of the dehumanization, policing, and harassing of homeless folks are not the rich, it’s the middle class

the person who calls the cops on you for sleeping somewhere, the person who insults you, the person who votes against you at town halls are the middle class

moreover, it takes having your necessities snatched from you to realize that the middle class people are the rich.

middle class americans are “rich” most places in the world with their salary

she would tell me how when you’re homeless you watch rich people who don’t know their rich all day.

and the distance in wealth between the person who sleeps outside with no income is greater than the distance between the middle class and the rich

largely you guys are gluttonous pigs and the only reason you don’t realize it is because there are more gluttonous pigs ahead of you

once i looked at her from her perspective and watched as she was surviving on 3-5 bucks a day, middle class people have been insufferable

a truly garbage spoiled population

It’s a rule in society, that the only people who have to care about the people beneath them are rich people. You can be as terrible as you want until you make 7 figures.
