You named his entire filmography. A lot of these joints weren’t major hits and a movie like Magnificent Seven wasn’t even regarded highly on here.

Denzel got a beast filmography, and is probably the GOAT actor along with Streep, Brando and DeNiro, but let’s be reality.

That's not his entire filmography for starters... and if we're going to include Cruise's fun action films then it's fair game.

How many of those are blockbusters

Moving the goal post are you? What do you define "blockbuster".... because if we being technical, the only "blockbusters" with Cruise are Risky Business, Top Gun, The MI series and that's pretty much it. NOT including films where he had a minor role like Tropic Thunder. Since you only talking about "blockbusters" Tom Cruise is not seeing Eddie Murphy, not seeing Samuel L. Jackson....

Let's stick with the ORIGINAL PREMISE which is classics. trying to throw movie numbers around you'll get exposed.

Let's also add on to the fact that Denzel was nominate and WON more Oscars. Tom Cruise is not even a fucckin' Oscar winner and chumps in his is overrating this dude.

Yes. An actor that starred in a classic with him - Rain Man.
Dustin Hoffman.
Easily ten 4-star films that he is the lead.

I wouldn't go as far as to say he has the most classics, but he's prolly the most consistent bankable star that can actually ACT in history. He hadn't been nominated for an Oscar in years but it seems at this point he been going for the bag as opposed to acting for the art. But he clearly has that talent, that doesn't just go away.

I think Leo comes close, but he's not the most talented, but he's found a way into blockbuster movies esp after Titanic. Leo is actually TRYInG to show us his acting chops, it don't always come off as natural, but in the right role he can kill it. Tom Cruise been tryna go for the bag for years and he's still a better actor than Leo.

Blade 1 and 2 , passager 57, demolition man, art of war , waiting to exhale, king of ny, art of war, undisputed....

Classics by a talented actor, or classics period? With classics:

He's still behind Denzel, Arnold, Sly, Tom Hanks, Will, Robin Williams

Hell, he may be behind Ethan Hawke & Ed Norton, Wesley

Cruise should have won Best Supporting Actor for Magnolia, he was amazing in that film. But they gave it to Michael Caine in Cider House Rules who did one of the worst American accents of all time :mjlol:
