Cruise should have won Best Supporting Actor for Magnolia, he was amazing in that film. But they gave it to Michael Caine in Cider House Rules who did one of the worst American accents of all time

Collateral is a 10/10 genre film that transcends action and I could argue it's actually a film about life.In general he makes pretty good movies but he still hasn't made a 10/10 movie but not many have so
