I disagree. I think rooting out radicalized white supremacists in government and military is an essential first step in the fight against white supremacy. Everything else is secondary.

It's actually a common phenomenon for politicians to do things that capture ratings and attention. Things like upgrading roads or funding the MTA don't grab headlines the way opening a brand spanking new bridge and naming it after your father (looking at Cuomo) or billions on a train hall , etc. Again this is a side example.
