The truth is even simpler. We don't know what any of these rappers did or didn't do, so anyone who says otherwise is pretending.

Everybody on here likes to act as though they know the "truth" behind these rappers. Most of it is heresay, rumor, and speculation.

That probably carries some serious actual federal charges if it was ever proven...think about this from all sides.

Yeah like he's worried about federal charges that may result from him somehow being a dirty CO years later.

If he really was a dirty CO, it would be near impossible and fruitless for any prosecutor to spend the money and resources on an investigation to go after William Roberts, former petty small time crooked city jail CO turned rapper.

He denied the CO thing because he felt it would damage his coke rapper persona.

I'm just trying to understand why a dude like Gunplay would make the allusions that he makes and others around Ross have said the things they've said without there being some hint to it.

Anonymous Commenter Speaks on Ross' Connection to the Boobie Boys

Yeah because anonymous criminals never lie.

The only people who vouch for Ross' criminal past are people who have a vested interest in eating off Ross, such as Boobie Williams himself. As your article even pointed out, a lot of people in Carol City say Ross didn't even really know Boobie. And other members of the Boobie Boys have gone on record saying Ross was just a little dude. His baby mama said he was a nobody who wasn't involved in any crime.

I think the most logical conclusion is Ross is just a dude from Carol City who could rap and knew/was friendly with people in the drug crew that ran the area (the Boobie Boys) and once he got into the rap game, they supported him and allowed him to rep the name so they could eat together. They lend him credibility, he gives them a percentage. That's same narrative of a whole bunch of rappers and it's far more likely than this conspiratorial "the truth is far more sinister" shyt about him being like Matt Damon in The Departed at some shytty Miami jail.
