I honestly never saw the big deal about Ross being a C.O. apparently he was doing it to help his homies behind bars, and that's understandable. But people gotta be smart, if he was C.O. that would make him of less of a suspect of doing illegal shyt since he had a certain reputation to live up to. I know for sure Ross has to have some sort of street cred.I mean he acknowledged he needed a job and Gunplay hinted at the fact that he was "told" to take that position on his recent Combat Jack appearance (and also said the boy had the devil inside of him ) ...is it really that hard to imagine that theres a side to Ross that keeps him in the highest graces of the realest dudes in the industry?
Its easy for 50 Cent to make fun of...but is that because he's playing on the ignorance of a more sinister truth?
You're embarrassing yourselfCriminals take CO jobs everyday bee it just happens to be that rick ross is a famous rapper so you non street nikkas wouldn't or couldn't understand.
For a regular joe smoe or street nikka it's easy to believe that's why nobody in Miami ever cared. Because ross is still a regular joe smoe in miami turned famous rapper.
Don't let 50 fool you nikkas he knows a ton of thorough COs and real grimy type nikkas that worked as COs especially in NY where that shyt runs rampant.
Taking a oath as a co and cop or 2 totally different situations. COs don't earn strips when they retire or do they do 21 gun salutes when they die. COs come a dime a dozen and or easily disposable. At least 30 % probably even more of every person that's held a CO job was dirty whether they just needed a job then became dirty or they was apart of a organization or it was just a lick.
YeAh so at 19 because my patna father gave me some not so good advice imma jump out the window and go through all the requirements and obligations it takes to become a CO for a year and a half. While working on my craft as a gangsta rapper and rolling with gunplay trying to get on.,My homey's father was a huge influence on my life, too . . . He was the one who was like, 'Yo, go get a job somewhere, man. Go be a fireman. Or go be a fukking corrections officer. Just go sit down somewhere.
Maybe when he said the second option he kinda winked like go do that and be part of my criminal enterprise wink wink
Because Gunplay has a vested interest in pumping up Ross' street credibility because he's making money with him. It's not that hard to understand.
