Despite being mob themed it is more about regular life and family dynamics, the mob shyt is after that.
But it is funnier than most shows especially once you understand the characters.

This is obviously an unpopular opinion based on the responses so far but I didn’t enjoy the show very much. I’ve never cared about the Italian mafia/mob subject matter and the show has a ton of dream sequences that I also never enjoy. I struggled to get through it and I never finished, but I’d say stick with it for a season and see how how you like it.

Funny this thread pops up because I finally decided to re-watch it. Got the blu a few months back and only checked the first ep. I even got my mom hooked on it.

It’s A must see if you enjoy gangster stuff. If you’re just a casual then it may not be for you.

The only thing I didn't like was that it started with his collapse. I'm not invested enough to care about his breakdown off the bat
