i love the original 3:10 to yuma, i dont remember ever seeing the russel crow version

shane might be my favorite, but sometimes i like wild bunch more

as for tv, i think i have seen every episode of bonanza, rawhide, and rifleman. i also like some episodes of gunsmoke, big valley, bat masterson, wanted dead or alive, and wagon train

in general i am not a fan of the modern stuff, though i would love to see what today's more talented directors can do. django had some good western moments, but i think a sequel would give that story more room to be a full western. true grit had some great acting by the 3 leads

Check it out asap. Neve r saw the original myself, but I keep hearing the remake is better. Gonna check the original one day, but tonight is the good bad and ugly before game of thrones.

I watch the Rifleman every Saturday morning on AMC and need to start getting into more westerns. The acting is kind of horrid but I'm still fascinated by it.
