Nonsense. Steph curry would still have 1 finals mvp to lebrons 4, he will still have less first team all nba selections, less MVPS, less defensive teams, less all star selections.
The fact that curry was the first Unanimous MVP and also the first to blow a 3-1 lead in nba history, he cant eclipse that, that stain will always be remembered, he had to get Kevin durant to get another championship
Lebron will be the all time leading scorer in the whole NBA by next season , when he retires the records will likely never be broken again as kareem record stood for over 30 years, the idea that steph will have a better legacy from a basketball perspective is lunacy.
Like what's your sensible argument?
Steph and Lebron are incomparable. Lebron will always have a better legacy due to his longevity and the fact that his career starts off strong. In response to your bolded statement, the Warriors were recruiting Durant prior to the 2016 postseason. Steph, Draymond, and a few people from the Warriors organization flew to Kevin's destination to discuss the Warriors' future with Kevin. Draymond has stated this in his podcast and Bogut's confirmed recruitment of Durant during the 2016 season on his Twitter. Basically, the Warriors didn't get Kevin to beat Lebron. They did it to form a dynasty. The Warriors were ahead of the league in creating an unbeatable team. They were targeting Durant because they knew he was the missing piece to dominate the league for multiple years. Theoretically, Job Lacob may have made that "Light Years Ahead" comment because he knew the Warriors were getting Durant in the 2016 offseason.

I'm not sure why you think the Warriors chasing KD in 2016 means they didn't get him to beat LeBron, considering that LeBron provided by far their biggest test in 2015 and all season it was pretty clear that Cavs and Warriors were going to be the top two teams.

It was the sole purpose of building a dynasty. The Warriors had their eyes set on KD and invited the core players to participate in the recruitment. I'm not sure how you intentionally missed my point. :pachaha:

Legroupies better hope Jimmy no shows tonight.

Miami vs Golden State means another one of Bron's peers will be winning yet another chip in "his era of dominance" WITHOUT the need of a superteam
Ya'll been posting this shyt during every round of the playoffs :mjlol:

First ya'll were rooting for the Nets, then the Bucks, and now the Warriors all in an effort to make the finals about Lebron. I'm sure ya'll will construct a way to make the result about Lebron if the Celtics win too. Mental illness.

Oh please, you Legroupies have been diminishing Bron's rival's (Giannis and Kawhi's) chips, players who showed you don't need a superteam to win a chip in real playoff conditions, to prop up Bron for the past three years in his years of irrelevancy :mjlol:

THERE WAS NEVER A RIVALRY

WHEN THEIR PRIMES OVERLAPPED, BRON WAS DUCKIN KOBE IN THE FINALS

YOURE THE ONE REWRITING HISTORY

AND U CAN STOP PRETENDING LIKE YOU A KOBE FAN NOW LOL

What were the years both were in their primes at the same time?

Why the need to diminish Bron. He's not going anywhere. As far as Steph he's my favorite player and plays for my squad. But he has never and will never surpass Bron in all time greatness. Steph is already #2 PG in my eyes but if he wins another and the FMVP( it's weird how much credence this award gets now. It didn't seem to mean that much in previous years) he is cemented at the #2 PG spot. He's in my top 12-15 players ever

This thread was always about LeBron and weaponizing Steph by characters who have shytted on Steph on here prior years...

I always say on here, if longevity and stats is the precursor to what you define as great... then how come stockton, malone, kareem, wilt arent in your top 5?
I think Lebron is great and carried the league in marvelous ways but he's not even past Duncan. I respect if someone puts Lebron in their top 3 or even 1 ... but you'd be downplaying alot of other greats who did more with less. Cats were out here actually closing games. Younger people make terrible conversations because they wont just say "Lebron is an animal and he's the best player I've had the chance of seeing" just like this thread title, there's active people passing him as we speak... and in the beginning there's people building legacies off beating him. His longevity and overall stature is 100% one of the best but the first part of this sentence is facts regardless. Like Jordan, Kobe, Oscar, Dr J, Russell, he will be forgotten and laughed about in 10 years by kids who never watched him play.

Absolutely terrible posting...

Giannis has gone out in the first two rounds in 4 of the last 6 years, since he became Giannis, the annual All-Star and HOF production...

The one year he gets to The Finals is a Covid-altered season where he also had the advantage of diminished opponents. The other deep run he made ('19 ECF) he was backdoored and emasculated by the Raptor D and an injured Kawhi...

His championship isn't diminished, it counts the same, but you can't create a reality that Giannis has consistently proven to win at a high-level, because he hasn't. He has more playoff struggles than the one title run...

Kawhi isn't diminished either, but that '14 title was not driven by him or his play...

And ya'll been discrediting Bron for over a decade. Imagine if Bron won under those circumstances-- against injured teams missing some of their best players for entire series'.. We would never hear the end of it :heh:

Of course, the ONLY years Kobe abd Bron were in their primes simultaneously were the years Kobe had his most success. 🙄 you a funny white dude 😆

SECONDLY, THAT WOULD PUT BRON IN THE 24-26 YEAR RANGE (BEGGINING PRIME) AND KOBE IN THE 30-32 RANGE (ENDING PRIME)

ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.. IF U WERENT SUCH A COCKSUCKIN GROUPIE U WOULDA BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE THAT OUT YASELF.

Do you say this about Bron's bubble chip? :jbhmm:

Giannis WON WITHOUT the need of a superteam and didn't need to team hop.
