One thing, I still struggle on is window functions. I think I just haven't had enough opportunities or scenarios to use them fully.

I had to google to figure out what that even was


I rarely use them personally but admittedly, most of my knowledge is thanks to on-the-job training instead of the correct/textbook way to do things. Functionality-wise it looks like it could save 1-2 steps I sometimes manually do in Excel for certain queries. Personally, when I do use Window functions, it is often for the Partition By function to rank/order within a subset of records.

Simple but not simplistic is the best way to describe SQL. Slowly grasping it (only been at it for two weeks)
