Yo I gotta reiterate for all the Bruce Lee stans in here that Im NOT shytting on the man... All Im saying within the confines of this thread topic... It doesn't make sense to bring Bruce lee's name up amongst the other guys...
Its like taking an SAT test and you get a question: "Which one doesn't fit? Apples, Oranges, Bananas, and Wheat Bread."
Like we can make a hypothesis on how Bruce would fair in professional combat but none of us, can really say where he ranks amongst professional fighters because we have no records of him in combat other then hear say.. Whereas these other guys we've watched them all fight people... So he shouldn't be included in this discussion... its not a knock on him, just the reality of the situation...

I'm pretty sure MMA dudes will admit this too.
Yet James Toney got in the ring and got submitted by an old Randy Coutoure. Thats why Kimbo Slice, who isnt good on the ground at all, easily took down Ray Mercer and subbed him knowing very little jiujitsu. You just have to concede to the gods on this one. MMA fighters at the amateur and professional level are superior to boxers.

Silva can get away with making Forrest Griffin look slow, but this is the type of speed Mike had -
Chael Sonnen was able to touch his chin a few times in their first fight, to take someone down you first have to close the distance and closing that distance against the type of speed Mike had could mean your jaw bone ends up coming out the side of your mouth.

Thread title is talkin bout dudes that transcend what they do...floyd maywether more respected then anderson silva....dudes go into MMA with a few years of training and climb to the top and dominate off just being superior athletes(black)....Bruce is athletically probaly the greatest specimen to ever live from a fighting perspective.....what the fuk u think he would do in MMA?lose?

If you looked at this thread properly you would clearly see me lewis black giving bruce lee props about being an iconic legend. He basically started mixed martial arts, the guy was a genius. This thread is about anderson silva being in the same leagues as tyson, ali, etc "DUDES WHO DOMINATE THERE SPORT" .
