Is Rick Ross’ lyrical peak comparable to or even BETTER than Prodigy’s peak?

Trying to make sense of that ...
Prodigy is more skilled

I FEEL Ross more and respect who he is and what he's about.

Same way I loved Dipset as my favorite rappers at some point but didn't think they were anywhere near as skilled as Jay and Nas.

Lupe is extremely lyrical but his music does nothing for me.

Ross is dope but definitely not at P’s peak level, you could make the argument for P being the GOAT at his peak

Do you agree with The Budden’s podcast criteria on how they were comparing MCs?

Personally I’d place Prodigy over Ross (i did in my top 100 in this thread)

But if I had to compare discographies (solo albums) one can make argument that Ross has a better overall body of work as a solo artist

the OP said lyrically, P is on another level imo

you can make the argument that Ross discography is better as a solo artist definitely
