Bruh....When those guys were coaching the game wasnt even in a transition yet. The game was still "three yards and a cloud of dust". Barry Switzer will tell you he didn't do shyt with Dallas. The coaching staff and the players won that Super Bowl. That common knowledge. Switzer didn't bring anything to that team. And Jimmy Johnson had Vinny Testaverde at QB, who would later become a No. 1 overall pick. Vinny was great at the university of miami bruh. Then he went to Dallas and got Troy Ailman who went to the hall of fame. Once again these guys didn't have scrubs at QB.
Okay, jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer ain't shyt. Check :heh:

easily.
white media is getting to peoples heads. theyve been conditioned to believe that qb has to be an alpha male 'general' that wins games 'by himself' making big plays with the arm :mjlol:

when in reality it couldnt be the further from truth. qbs, just like other position, are replaceable unless you have a complete bum or an elite qb. everything in between is JUST like other positions.

All Championship teams follow the formula of a good defense and a running game.. (Thats across the board)

Yeah in the 80's and 90's when you could actually play defense. The Seahawks have the best defense in this era of football and they gave up over 400 yards passing and 4 td's in the Super Bowl..you can't hold offenses down like you used to especially the passing game

As far as the running game the Seahawks are the only team in years that's won the Super Bowl where the offense is about the running game

WTF?! I never said that dumbass. Jimmy Johnson was a great coach but to he had great QBs. How fukkin hard is that to understand. Vinny Testaverde was the No. 1 overall pick at the U. And when he wen to Dallas he had a hall of famer in Troy Aikman. Did he not. As far as Barry Switzer's time with the Cowboys....

Sports | Troy Aikman's View Of Future Doesn't Have Barry Switzer In It | Seattle Times Newspaper

"But more interesting, he told close friends that his decision on an extension depends on whether Barry Switzer remains as head coach. Aikman has complained privately that the Cowboy coaching staff does not have the team under control and playing up to potential."

Troy Aikman's own words. Those were Jimmy's coaches, Jimmy's system, Jimmy's players. Could you tell me exactly what Switzer brought to that team.? Players who spoke about the issue said getting rid of Jimmy was a big mistake an getting Switzer was an even bigger one because he was too laid back and let the players run wild.

You need a decent QB regardless tho, prime example Trenr Dilfer, all he had to make certain passes, hand the ball off and watch that raven D eat:wow:

You think a motherfukker like rex grossman would have did that? Hell fukk no if he was a decent qb the bears would have beat Peyton

QB's are important as they touch the ball the most.. But "most vital.. I don't agree with..

That's a debate between the WR, and the RB, and in some cases coach

:russ:

This guy not only believes that QB isn't the most vital, but then of all positions puts RB and WR over them?

:mjlol:

One of my favorite all-time players is a WR, but I have no problem admitting that it's one of the least important positions on the field. And RB is easily the most overrated position by far.

QB is easily the most important, and I'd take a next-level DE/OT over a WR/RB any day.

I'd believe you if my Panthers didn't start Vinny Testaverde.

We literally had a RB playing QB and taking snaps instead of putting a practice squad bum out there - at any other position in football, you can get away with that. At QB? No. Not in games that matter.

edit: Falcons. I ain't forgot :umad::banderas:
