Joey Diaz just said on his podcast that he got more fans after Patrice and Ralphie May died. Those fans woulda been going to their shows if they were alive today but Joey has filled that void for them for now. OP wilding thinking Patrice wasn't popular before death.

There is a difference between knowing someone and their art and not liking it but after they die you act like they're a goat and not finding out about them until after their death and ackownleding how good they were.

Patrice is much more versatile in his rants than Corey. He can be funny and go deeper in-depth on various subject matters. Top 10.
Corey is funny in his own lane, but his rants aren't as varied, and his comedy can feel a little repetitive. I wish he would expand more. I'd like to see more growth. Definitely top 10 though.

It's OK to admit you just don't know comedy. It's perfectly fine to be a casual comedy fan, watch a few stand ups here and there, know a couple of comedians by name, maybe even see a few comedy shows live.
