Patrice was in negotiations with fx before he died for a show Louie style. And with Netflix he woulda been huge. Patrice was a storm brewing. All his friends are top tier and he was considered the best amongst them.
This is for you:Joey Diaz just said on his podcast that he got more fans after Patrice and Ralphie May died. Those fans woulda been going to their shows if they were alive today but Joey has filled that void for them for now. OP wilding thinking Patrice wasn't popular before death.
Thinking Corey is funnier is simply an opinion, not fact. I hate nikkas on here who argue opinions like you gonna change someone's mind about subjective topics. There is no right or wrong answer to who is funnier.
I don't hear his name brought up at all outside of the internet
I was actually around when Patrice was alive in 2011. He was popular. 8 years later, no telling where he woulda been. It's fine you like Corey more but stop trying to force others to agree with ya breh. This is for you
Corey actually have his own show that do numbers and he fills up arenas every weekend.
You right it's all subjective but if we deal with numbers the reality is Corey reached a level that Patrice didnt

What you mean with rants?Patrice is much more versatile in his rants than Corey. He can be funny and go deeper in-depth on various subject matters. Top 10.
Corey is funny in his own lane, but his rants aren't as varied, and his comedy can feel a little repetitive. I wish he would expand more. I'd like to see more growth. Definitely top 10 though.
Perfect example of the overhyping of the deadIt's OK to admit you just don't know comedy. It's perfectly fine to be a casual comedy fan, watch a few stand ups here and there, know a couple of comedians by name, maybe even see a few comedy shows live.
Anyone who knows comedy knows Patrice's place in comedy.
Its like the difference between casual people who watch NBA or NFL. They know a few teams, know a couple players names. Might watch something highlights or sports talk, maybe watch a game live or even check one out, but they don't know the depth of the players or understand their positions, they don't know the lineage, where the players came from, how or why they are playing for this team, how they compare or rank to others that play the same position in the league.
Patrice needs no defense. His legacy and his work speaks for itself. And honestly you can't define Patrice just by talking about him. Like the NFL,NBA you have to understand the all around game, the players, the league, the lineage.
Comedy as an enthusiast, like anything else cars, sports, movies, music, etc is not for everyone.
Naw I quoted you, not him. Like others have said in here, Nipsey was a better example and Nip was my favorite rapper. But all the new "fans" he got after he died was crazy.Lol
I was quoting that nikka cause y'all saying Iam the only one with this opinion
How do you know @Pineal Gland wasn't around in 2011? Sounds like you forcing nikkas to agree with you

Patrice death came and folks in the comedy world who already fukked with him were the ones who were grieving mostly. Comedy world is different than rap. Patrice was already in the top tier of stand up comedians before his death.
Just say you know Corey Holcomb or something b, you going hard for him in this thread like he your cousin
Naw you made this thread about a man you think is overhyped, shoulda just upped that Corey Holcomb thread to show your cousin love. I fukks with Corey too.Corey Holcomb is in that tier right now an he has his own show, Patrice never had that
Iam going as hard as you going for your cousin Patrice so we even
