Is New York the best city in the United States?

I live in a city of about 60 thousand people and we are gettin it in at all times over here. Feels like we got pretty much everything we need and people are pretty nice and there's hardly any crime. But whenever i hear about New York, many people say it is the best bar-none. So what is it that makes it the best or one of the best? Discuss.

NYC has a lot of pros and cons. both pros and cons can be extreme. its not an easy place to live, but i dont think too many places in america are anymore
