Besides that half the nikkas in Chicago and Detroit are actually from places like Memphis, Birmingham and Nashville.

A huge chuck of Blacks from chicago migrated from Mississippi tho. Both my mom and dad ancestors were from Mississippi

Take your pride out of the window and take w/e little bit of education you have from your poorly funded school and learn how to read the OPs question correctly.

:deadmanny::deadmanny:
:mjlol: The ignorance in this response. It’s built on a false narrative.”Answering” the question directly would give the question the credibility it was seeking. But I guess you minimum wage GED nikkas couldn’t see that :russ:...carry on

This my Midwest ranking
Chicago GOAT by default so I ain’t gone include us

1. Minneapolis
2. St. Louis
3. Kansas City
4. Detroit
5. Indianapolis

St Louis is a scary place lol. I would put Detroit over St Louis in a heartbeat.

St Louis might be my least favorite midwest city honestly. :mjlol:

The irony of someone who can’t read talking about ignorance.

Do you know what overshadowed even means?

Compare grapes to peaches

Then ask

if that is the same thing as comparing
Watermelon to Mango

Philly is a large city

It's not comparable to New York.

The only people who do that have likely never been to New York

It is it's own animal..

There are a lot of people who view Philly as a mini NYC. Personally, I don't think that they're a like at all.

Do you live in nyc? I’m in East NY as we speak and I have never heard anyone say that after being here 20+ years....usually Philly is considered and compared to the cities in its tri-state area in south jersey or in Delaware.

I was born and raised in Philly myself (I’ll be there tomorrow for a wedding this weekend)..most people there seem to talk about nyc like it’s another country.

IMO, it’s not a perfect comparison, but I think Baltimore has more in common with Philly than it does NYC the landscape is pretty much the same but Philly has like 3x the people

They both have large buildings and people who talk fast and wear similar clothes

But Describing a city as Mini New York is ridiculous

It's like saying it's a baby elephant

There's like what.. 8+ Million people in New York ?!

They both have east coast characteristics that can also be found in Boston, NJ cities, and even Baltimore but the accents are totally different and even the cities look different for the most part depending where you at.

Corner stores on each corner, Chinese take outs everywhere and people selling stuff on the streets on tables and grimey looking subways and the brownstone parts are similar things. NYC is much more diverse also.

philly is not a mini NYC but Philly is def overshadowed by NYC like OP is claiming.

Just like Baltimore is overshadowed by DC but at the same time Baltimore is NOT a mini DC.
