Black Americans still have numbers in NYC. You just aren’t in their neighborhoods. I work in Bed Stuy and the vast majority of my clients are blacks from the south.

Also the East Coast has a very prideful mindset. NYC and Philly are close and we have similar lifestyles but it’s two different cultures despite only being 1.5 hours away.

Not sure if West Indians have more numbers these days but Harlem, Bed Stuy, South Jamaica, the blacks who live in the south Bronx and East Harlem, Coney Island and the gentrified areas of Forte Green and Clinton Hill are mostly AA.


East Flatbush and Flatbush are pure West Indians. If you don’t leave your hood and was raised in East Flatbush then there’s a chance you probably won’t even meet an AA till you go to College lol
