Is Milwaukee to Chicago what Philly is to New York?

I don't understand this whole overshadowing thing. I didn't know Philly and NYC were competing in overall culture. There are some sports rivalries but not as intense as with other cities like yankees and red sox, knicks and celtics or bulls, or inner city rivalries like yankees and mets, rangers and islanders, knicks and nets. Don't really think of one city when thinking of another. I never been to Milwaukee but can't compare it to Philly. Maybe NYC and Philly have some similarities but they two different cities culturally.

Real rap and both cities appreciate their uniquness. People online always think Philly this to NYC there is no beef or jealousy. Philly is 135 square miles one of the smallest big cities in the world.

Detroit has contributed more culturally. But there's still way more people and money in the Chi. Period.

Imo Detroit is greatest music city in the whole USA.

As a Chicago nikka who lived in Milwaukee for a little over a year in 2018.

Milwaukee has that “little brother” feel to it compared to Chi. Like @The God Poster , it’s tons of Chicago transplants up there. Seem like everyone I met up there was either from Chicago or they had family in Chi.

Milwaukee feels like Chicago 2007


Our women was up there, can count the number of times I seen a decent shorty up there that made me double take.
