I’ve always said that The Witcher 3 is the 3D Castlevania we should have gotten. I think fear is partly a reason why they don’t jump the gun and commit.

Surprised Capcom ain't remake x4 yet

No one cares about these types of games anymore. Mega Man games have barely evolved since the 80’s
It could use a facelift but I think the IP still has potential

The IP does, for sure. Not if they keep putting out low effort, challenging and slow moving side scrolling platformers.
Mega Man needs to either go back to the Battle Network formula or something closer to Legends/R&C for AAA.
Mega Man 11 was a success. The ip is in good hands.

There's so much more they could have done with the franchise. All they had to do was follow the Metroid Prime formula and build off of the Battle Network series.
The era where Capcom took risks like Asura's Wrath, Power Stone, Viewtiful Joe, etc. are dead
