Martin and Fresh Prince were top tier.
Wayans Bros was great, Jamie Foxx was underrated

OK:yeshrug:

Some of you nikkas are taking this topic way to serious. Low tier or whatever, I don't know any black person that didn't like Hanging with Mr. Cooper or Malcolm & Eddie.

But I keep forgetting that this is The Coli, where people like to argue for the sake of arguing.

Mr Cooper was cool, bought a tear to my eye when he reappeared on Jamie Foxx and killed it:salute:...wasn't he a lawyer and a dmv worker and was they the same person?I just know he killed both appearances.

If folks can mention my wife and kids:childplease:...Mr Cooper,Steve Harvey,Family Matters can be in the discussion off Myra alone:ohlawd:...everybody hates chris is really underated though.

Top 3 I gotta go with Sanford and Son,no old show has me rollin like S&S....Red Foxx literally carries that show, amazing talent....a lot of them old black shows honestly ain't that funny to me,good shows but not really funny...its hard to compare shows like Good Times that's supposed to have life lessons with shows like the wayans and martin that's all out comedy 90% of the time...Different World as well, think some of y'all judgin how much a show made you laugh when all these shows ain't the same kindve comedy...u gotta just go off how good a show it was.

Personally I gotta go Martin,Different World,Sanford And Son,Cosbys=Fresh Prince in that order....the rest pretty much on the same level far as the major shows

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Off the top, there is Martin going to that cult and Marlon did the same. There was that boxing match with Hearns that Martin had, and Marlon fought that Hispanic boxer that died earlier this year (forgot his name). I know there was a few more, but I forget.
lots of people stole that boxing joint.. kevin hart did it with sweatpea.. same charity boxing over a girl and getting his ass beat

but i can't believe nobody is talking about

fukk no.....

Cosby Show and A Different world were better than all 3.

Also can't forget about Living single. Living Single is better than the Wayans Brother.

The Bernie Mac show is criminally underrated but a ton of people missed it because of American Idol fukking with it's time slot.

To be clear I love the shows you mentioned but you can't talk about great black sitcoms and not bring up The Cosby Show and A Different World.
This.

The concept of the Bernie Mac show at the time was unheard of. Everything was piff. The soundtracks, the casting, guest casting, story, the breaking of the fourth wall.

A different world just got better with time, season 6 they dealt with some true shyt but bitter racists at NBC pulled the plug.

It's sad that we don't have anything like that (besides maybe blackish) that can compare

What about that episode when they were on Jerry. Marlon was killing it the whole time.

Marlon saying "Make it HOTTTTTTTA"

"Pop Pop Pop Pop Sugar Pop" and "When my love goes Bang Bang Bang you better run you sweeeeeeet little thang"

Everytime they said "cooookooooooo" and Pops came out the diner talking about "Somebody set trippin up in here?"

Help me help me pleease..Marlon bring ya ass :blessed:
