OK:yeshrug:

Some of you nikkas are taking this topic way to serious. Low tier or whatever, I don't know any black person that didn't like Hanging with Mr. Cooper or Malcolm & Eddie.

Put I keep forgetting that this is The Coli, where people like to argue for the sake of arguing.
I forgot about these. both classics from the childhood. didn't Sinbad have a show also?

There's a difference between messing with them when they were on their original run...a lot of them were entertaining for the time (Malcolm and Eddie, one on one, moesha, Jamie foxx, etc)...and trying to discuss them in a GOAT black sitcom thread. many of them didn't age well/aren't really built to be watched 10-15 years later.

I don't know about Malcom and Eddie but Hangin With Mr. Cooper is a legit funny show. I don't think the c00n factor was high enough for ABC to keep it on the air back then. They had Urkel acting as ass every week and figured that was enough.

OK, that's your opinion. :yeshrug:

Majority of the people I know think the opposite.
:yeshrug:

I'm not trying to make this an argument.

I could go on, but I'm sure everyone has already scolded you enough :manny:

The show was good until Franklin was put on the show. I couldn't stand him. Plus Damon overdid it with the impersonations later on.

Agree, that's why I didn't put hangin with mr cooper in that category, it was actually good then and now, I wish it was shown more (is it even syndicated?)

Yeap, I keep forgetting about Sinbad show. Wish I never took all these 90's black sitcoms for granted. We will never see another era like that in our life time.:wow:
that is true but you never know. maybe more will come out, there's still time. shoot atleast we got to experience it. and you lucky cuz us Spanish folks ain't got shyt. other than the George Lopez show I can't name any other Hispanic sitcom. he did have the late night talk show but that genre full of cacs so they kicked him off. and I definitely ain't tryna watch no telemundo or anything like that. I can speak the language fine but can't stand watching it on television.
