you could literally watch the whole movie on mute and nothing would change the experience
movie was just random violence and explosions and weird lookin people

So you're dissapointed that a piece of visual media doesn't lose any of its power if you were to "reduce" it to a purely visual experience?

I wish I could say this for more movies instead of having to sit through two and a half hours of people giving long-ass speeches about nothing while doing nothing.

Started watching this movie again today...... Half my nikkas were an hour in.

I've got no clue how this movie is this hyped. This dude max shouldn't have lasted past the sand storm . Why the hell am I supposed to care about these characters at all? Please someone tell me why. This may be my biggest problem with the whole flick. The movie gives me no reason to give one fukk about any of the characters at all. If they died in a huge fiery crash at the end I would've been like

The reason why all the actors can communicate nonverbal is because the plot is so thin. There's literally nothing to communicate. Like say I'm riding shotgun in a car and I need my homie to take a left. All I have to do is point left. That's this movie. The plot is literally that thin. Fanboys will twist this into a positive. It's not. . The dialogue is mainly grunts and points cause of the simplicity of the plot which is "drive left fast", "drive back fast", "don't die".

The deepest "symbolism" in this movie is literally spelled out on a wall. Y'all nikkas man.
The action is great but that shyt got mad tiring an hour and a half in. This will be one of the movies younger generations will look back on like "I thought this shyt was a classic".

Movies like this make me really see how different ppl are. I honestly can not see how one watches this movie and comes away like "wow this is the best action film of the decade and the best movie of the year". I just don't understand

i enjoyed it, i think your seeing too many car chases and its starting to be repetitive to you

as a kid i enjoyed the car chase scene at the end of road warrior

Good movie, but not nearly as great as most make it out to be. After the hype I saw on here, I was expecting a lot more when I watched it.

Maybe Fast & the Furious will learn from this and cut the dialogue down about 75% and maybe it will be called great.

Yes, this movie was overrated.

Why, one would almost be led to believe the message of the movie is literally and figuratively to not run away from your problems but instead face them.

It would almost make one wonder if that message somehow ties into the world of Mad Max being a dystopian vision of our future if humanity continues to ignore and run away from the problems that might turn this vision into a reality.

Which certainly would leave one to conclude that if people can't even pick up on something as simple as that, it is no surprise that one has to look upon them and call them "plebians".:ducreux:

No it wasn't. shyt is almost cringe worthy and vapid. The only thing the movie has going for itself is it's shot in HD and there are bright colors - type sh!t that impresses retards. There's nothing impressive or memorable about it.

The way the director kept the pace going the whole film was remarkable, I was kept thinking I don't think I ever seen a George Miller movie but they need to let him direct a twisted metal movie

Underrated by those who claim it's overrated and only see it as merely an action flick...or one long car chase. If you cannot comprehend the symbolism in regards of society, religion, and fascism as well as multiple metaphors to breaking free from not just physical but mental bondage... this film is not meant for you to get. It serves on so many levels to where you can enjoy it for its simplicity of just a so-called action flick to the deeper meanings that are subtly exposed throughout the film.
