You do realize that at a point in US history, a non wyte didn't have say of what is on their birth certificate.

Tina Knowels, Beyonce mom, gives an example of this. Her family name and ethnicity was up to the issuing body. She explained her ancestor didn't fight the inconsistencies because "black people just felt lucky enough to even be issued a BC"

There are many examples on this very forum, plenty of celebs who are non-american identify as black.

We're talking about Kamala. I don't need a history lesson on Beyonce's family tree. Are you saying that in 1964, two immigrants that had to fill out forms upon forms to be granted student visas, didn't have the authority to correctly fill out the information on their child's birth certificate?
