Jay Z was a great rapper...who said the right things at the right time...met the right people...got the right spots...and ended up in the right place.

Jay is one of the smartest, can't say that he's the smartest though. That's a very subjective question. I mean Puff has more money, and has been relevant for a longer time does that make him smarter? Gnarz has trouble expressing himself when he's not rapping. It's ok though, it gives that "born to use mics" line more weight.

Smartest person in the industry has to be Diddy. He's pulled ahead of Jay in terms of money recently, and he doesn't have nearly as much monster publicity.

He would be like this "Skip the bullshyt and get to the point".
The CEO at for example a bank is not trying to know what type of formulas his traders use in their high frequency trading and shyt.. They have other people that sums up 5 years of study to understand certain formulas and graphs with a few sentences.

I never said he wasn't smart... You can't look at his life and say he wasn't smart.... but when people are walking around acting like he's Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, etc... that's where it ends...

Jay is an opportunist... He takes advantage of every situation...He is a very SMART mover.

He's the type to listen to advice given to him, something that a lot of PEOPLE do not do...
