Inuyasha is one of my favorite series but I always lol'd at how quickly he would be ready to pop his claws or grip his Tetsusaiga at ANY demon but the moment a human came around he'd hesitate. Kogome had him whipped.
Yeah. Inuyasha just takes it a step further in trying to transform his identity for the sake of said human. I get why he does it though.

Exactly Itachi knew the Uchiha were fukked either way. They would be wiped out by civil war if they succeeded or Konoha would of wiped them out. He ensured his brothers safety and set him up to achieve greatness. The 2nd Hokage is mainly who caused all this strife.

One of the worst character motivations of all time. All the fan theories on who 'Tobi' was ended up being way better than what kishimoto tossed out there.
Itachi wasn't a c00n, he just knew that even if the rebellion happened ALL the Uchiha would get got. They didnt have what it takes to stand up to the rest of the village not to mention any people the third could've brought in from the outside to help.
I will say tho, it is pretty fukked up there wasnt a uchiha hokage ever, even tho the village wouldnt exist with out them
