I don't know why you all are saying no one watched it because it was a white show. I honestly watch/ed a lot of "white" shows, Friends was just basura.

Just thought of this and it was super funny to me. I had invited some friends over one day, they were all white. We were having a little dinner party, so I threw on some Martin DVD's. It was that episode where he got beat up and his face was all distorted. I was cracking up. I looked over at all of them, and not even a smile .

Made it even funnier, I started crying

Not to take away from your point but reruns do count. I’m 27 and most of the good TV shows ended when people my age were kids. Most of us grew up on the reruns.

Saved by bell was my shyt though. I guess cause doing it prime run i was in high school. Wasnt any other shyt to do on saturday mornings after wakimg up.

Majority of those white shows, anyway, were built off the strength of ONE character.

I watched saved by the bell cause of screech
Sometimes Friends cause of joey
And seinfield cause of kramer

Those were the funny characters...shows like Fresh Prince, family matters, martin etc those I would laugh and enjoy plots / stories off the strength of the whole cast

I use to watch that show and everybody loves Raymond, Frazier, King and Queens, that 70’s show, Seinfeld basically all the cac shows I watched growing up because that was the only thing on when I got home from school because I never had cable growing up

Fox & UPN has plenty of black shows. Both of them was not cable
