Fox & UPN has plenty of black shows. Both of them was not cable

I got UPN sometimes I had to stick the hanger with some foil wrapped around it in place of a antenna. It was about 50/50 to get that channel

But yeah Moesha, The Parkers, Steve Harvey show and Girlfriends was good too

I was shocked to see that saved by the bell thread went 5 pages cuz ain’t no nikka I ever met watched that shyt.

"saved by the bell" was a color-less show that people of all races watched.

the thing is, it was geared towards kids & teens. shows like those almost never transcend to different generations. hence, the reason why its the only show of its kind that managed to stay in syndication nearly 30 years later & counting. sure, black kids today don't watch it. I'm not even sure if white kids do. the type of syndication it gets in terms of channels & timeslots, seems like its catered towards the 30 & up crowd.

same thing with "boy meets world" to a lesser extent. ive seen it being brought up in this thread.
and you gotta realize, "boy meets world" was apart of ABC's T.G.I.F. lineup, smack-dab in the middle of black sitcoms. black kids automatically watched it.
