A 24 year old nikka is on this post talking about watching shows and making choices.
A nikka that was born in 1993. (oops bytch I round up because black people round ages/years up to the next age/year to make points. You'd know that if you had an AA mother)
Let that sink in.
Saved by the Bell is an American television sitcom that aired on NBC from 1989 to 1993.

and reruns don't count.

I feel the same way.. cuz it sound like y’all inly watched shows with white people in it lmao.

Archie bunker and the show with the white family in Chicago and the dad who sat with his hands in his pants was pretty cool tho growin up
It's not that I only watched white shows, I just may have seen a wider range of media than you growing up. It sounds like you only watched the most well known black shows

No, I know people that watched Saved by the Bell..they were just all white :russ:

Y’all nikkas sound personally offended that nobody seems to agree (including people your own age) that Blk people wasn’t watching shows libel Saved By the Bell.

I wasn’t alive when Good Times, Jeffersons, Archie Bunker or nonadem shyts were being made, but I grew up on them and I know the Black people around me did. This “you had to be there” shyt y’all keep saying is dumb... white kids when I was growing up watched the show, white adults reminisce about the show.. No black people I know talk about this show outside the Coli.

Those shows u named are stables in black family’s, saved by the Bell u had to be around.

It was a good show when u were a kid watching it.

Friends was one of my favorite shows growing up. So much that I bought the entire series on Blu-Ray. A lot of my friends didn't f*ck with it though. They never gave me grief about it. Outside of the occasional "why are you watching that white sh*t for?" :russ:

That shyt isn't funny

They really made like 10 shows after Seinfeld thinking that show was only funny cuz of the friend dynamic :mjlol:

This.
They thought that folks would be clamoring to see another Quartet of whinging, white, 30 something's sitting around in an apartment doing fukk all and think that it would sell off the strength of that and they looks.

Nah, Seinfeld was funny because of it's writers and the situations they put the characters in based off their real lives as opposed to just banking off the acting clout of the three cast members and Jerry's somewhat amicable personality.

Had it not been for the writers and Michael Richard's dedication to being a physical performer, 'The show about nothing' woulda died like on it's 2nd Season before folk caught on to how brilliant it was at the time.
