There was a thread on why women want to know what a man does for a living and most of the men said they don't care what a woman does or how much she makes as long as she loves them. Those comments along with this thread is what led me to make that comment.

They usually don't include their race in the statement but I've heard women say they are strong women usually when they've been through something where their ability to get through it was tested.

Look here videos of non black women talking about being strong.

Do these non black women at any point ever say "I am a strong white woman" "I am a strong asian woman" Do u ever hear other races of women say shyt like "You can't handle a strong white woman like this" "you can't handle a strong asian woman"

Have you not read my other comments? I said what I've heard. So black women put their race into it, and? Does that make the statement less similar?

The other question about handling, I've never heard any woman IRL say that. On the Internet, I've only read black women stating it at least I think they're black.

I was referring to another thread and linking the main point to this one with the money comment.

And I've heard other races of women call themselves strong especially if she's been through something (which is usually when any woman, regardless of race, would be more likely to make such a comment)

You guys really think only black women do this. It's so strange.
make a comment about staying strong during an episode/situation yea but categorizing herself as a strong woman? never heard of it.

Over the entire planet, where are women linked with strong. Typically the tribes that had 'amazonians' had them after huge wars and a loss of men (a generation gap)

Ok how about this. Is it ok for a woman to refuse a man that is physically weak? or is a metrosexual in tune with his 'sassy' side? or extremely emotional. if it's wrong, why?

There is an evolutionary reason why men and women are emotionally, socially and physically different.
When I read strong black woman, I had more of a positive image in head. Which is hard-working, confident black women that take their place and won't just get dominated.

But if we're talking about the stereotypical, loud mouth talkin, scene causing "strong black women" then nah I don't want that :whoa::huhldup:

Personally tho, I don't want a woman that's submissive. I'm looking for a life partner not daughter :why:. I want a woman that can challenge me and that's a go-getter. A woman that has morals and principles of her own and can defend them.

It's not a compliment when women are called "strong" as it has been historically a male feature

It implies that she wants the role of a man

You can keep that.... give me a woman that wants a man and not one who wants to be the man.

A woman can be described in many different ways.... strong is a red flag

Uh, yes it does make a HUGE difference when BW have to put their race into it. What do u mean by "and" I keep askin why is it that only BW have to specify their race when describing their strength and not other races? I have in fact read your comments in this thread.

That's the issue with these men, they like to use the ratchets as an example of what's wrong with black women in general.

But they never specified their race. Why do u think that is :lupe:

Isn't this common sense ?

The same reason black men say 'I am a black doctor' and white doctors don't call themselves 'white doctors'

The same reason people call black billionaire's 'black billionaire'' while white billionaires are simply billionaires.

You just woke up in 2013 and realised us black's mention our race where other races don't.
