I was referring to another thread and linking the main point to this one with the money comment.

And I've heard other races of women call themselves strong especially if she's been through something (which is usually when any woman, regardless of race, would be more likely to make such a comment)

I have NEVER heard an Asian, White, Somoan, Mexican or Indian woman ever refer to themselves and say, "I'm a strong asian woman" "I'm a strong white woman" "I'm a strong asian woman" etc I have NEVER heard those words

You gotta understand that some black females may act strong is because let's face it alot of them come from single parent homes where the mother has to be the mother and the father most of the time so they instill that fend for yourself don't let no man try and take care of you attitude. exactly, this is why most of those women don't know how to act. If the father is there and they see the proper interaction between a man and a female, then those women will treat you like a king, because they daddy was king in household.

There was a thread on why women want to know what a man does for a living and most of the men said they don't care what a woman does or how much she makes as long as she loves them. Those comments along with this thread is what led me to make that comment.


They usually don't include their race in the statement but I've heard women say they are strong women usually when they've been through something where their ability to get through it was tested.
