Memphis growing, but you can't kill Atlanta. One thing about Atlanta, our strip clubs our a market mover so even if you not from here you will try to pop here. If you try to pop here you have to get cosigned, and to be cosigned means you have to work with Atlanta artists.

Don't believe me? Look at Nav ( :mjlol:)

Mans can't put out a project without getting a bunch of feature from the city. Why? Because he wants the national exposure.

Mr. No features Cole had to get a track with Thug to get a Grammy.

You want to get big quick? You want your name in conversation? Get a Atlanta nikka on a track and your names in the conversation. We don't have to lead the pack to still be a force in the game. :sas2:

J.I.D. and Earthgang didn't break out. Lil Nas X doesn't represent Atlanta and he's a novelty act.

Schooly is actually dope but his time may have passed him.

So you saying they didn't get major pushes for their projects, features, and positive word of mouth? I mean they didn't Meg or DaBaby the game but late 2018 through 2019 they were a presence more than they were.

All I'm saying is folks constantly forget that we have talent and more than just trap/hood shyt. Zack Fox blew the fukk up last year on gimmick joke rap. JiD and EG did their thing for the underground/ lyrical miracle scene. If you asking for who the next hood nikka to make it let me go through bouldercrest or the westend and just look around lmao.

JID and earth gang are on the wrong label.

Dreamville wants everyone to marketed as the boring everyday nikka like Cole is

Last year? JiD, EARTHGANG, and Lil Nas X were the breakouts. Nudy got some shine and exposure last year but we'll see how he parlays it into anything major. 2chains keeps trying to push Schooly but nobody wants that shyt, and he needs to let it go and let god.
I don’t really agree with JiD or Earthgang...but they did have some moderate success last year so I’ll give you that...still I don’t see them becoming stars like Thug, Gunna, or Lil Baby:yeshrug:

It’s funny how y’all wanna claim Lil Nas X now when last year y’all was saying he was a one trick pony:mjlol:besides he don’t even sound like an Atlanta artist

I don’t see Nudy getting any bigger 21 Savage should’ve given him a stronger push, plus he gotta compete with Carti to get them Pierre Bourne beats:francis:

Man RIP Pop Smoke.

He was the biggest thing this year and he won't ever know. NY Drill lost long-term with Pop passing. He was it man.

I agree with the premise. Atlanta has right now, they don't look to have next. But they've put each other on for years. Will anyone from Baby's crew start buzzing heavy?
