always thought they were awful

this. almost all the beats they've created were horrible. the worst one that i still can't believe people were rocking to back then and still are now is that "give it to me" one by jay-z. that was and still is one of the most simplistically assed out beats that i've ever heard in my life. almost all the beats they created were simple sh!t that anybody could create. it took no effort at all. NONE. there were a few good beats they had like "knock yourself out", "grindin" and i forgot what else BUT for the most part, they were mostly misses.

man, i'll say that timbo had more better beats. jigga what jigga who is dope. excuse me miss was dope. swizz beats and the neptunes could tie for the worst beats that blew up. i think swizz would take the cake though. how that dude still has a career after all these years still makes me go like . dude is one of the worst producers to EVER do it.
