Is it just me or is Netflix completely falling off?

this aint most people's problem. you more often see the complaint of scrolling through the individual genre lists watching various previews or reading synopses for 30 mins only to exit the app having found nothing to watch.

now if that was my experience with every app, that's a "me" problem, but this is my experience with netflix

There are dedicated threads, among many forums, that can point out which Netflix shows/films may actually be worth your time. You may not like the content after watching it, but we still have resources to use that can assist in finding the quality programming.

I feel you. Even before I really dig into Max I still have to watch season 2 of The Knick, season 3 of Gomorrah, finish Rick & Morty, and give Banshee & Insecure a first time spin. Prime also has a ton of shyt way below the surface. My currently watching and list on Netflix is backlogged to death. I'm drowning in content brehs

I forgot the last season coming so I have to binge this

this is exactly why i say netflix aint it for me, i'll hit the netflix thread up there, try a few shows and none of them hit for me.

Also with Netflix, if you hit the search bar and just type in a show or movie that they have. The results will be that show plus a couple hundred other selections will pop up. This opens their library up a lot more and you'll see stuff that's not on the home screen, stuff you had no clue was on there, some classics, forgotten gems, etc. Each search or genre search brings up a ton of shyt that's buried deep down in their library

DOTA: Dragon's Blood (they call it anime but it's not) just came out. Looking good according to reviews and even though I'm not familiar with the brand I'm already liking it.

Castlevania stans should watch.

As for the real anime I've seen on there I thought Saiki K Reawakened, Beastars, Kengan Ashura, and Devilman Crybaby were legit.

ill watch netflix when a new season of flash is there or a new documentary that im interested in (even tho all the new docs seem to drag shyt out way too much and circle back on things). Im pretty well fed with HBO/hulu tbh, those are the go to apps for me.

I feel like there hasn’t been anything worthwhile watching in months. I’m close to cancelling at this rate.
Seems like they make all their original content based on algorithms of what gets watched the most. So it’s been nothing but lifetime level movies of some woman getting stalked or abused, a sh1tty teenage love story, a documentary/movie mash up of a big recent news story, some how to make a murderer type murder mystery docuseries, and other trash I can’t think of at the moment.
Meanwhile HBO max and even Disney plus seem to have all the interesting original content lately.
I can’t be the only one who’s seeing this.

I have Netflix for the family at this point. Outside of waiting for ozark, stranger things and a disappointing second season of haunting of... they ain’t dropped shyt.

I just have it for my mom and nieces and nephew

And I am not trying to have that argument about why moms can't watch Greenleaf no more
