Yeah they have the establishment backing them but again the TV bag is a temporary one while AK is setting himself up with longevity. There is no internet loyalty, AK will be big on Youtube, Twitch or whatever takes their place because the people fukk with him so they will follow. D&M have a good show and corporate following but if those get cut off then they will have a much smaller fanbase and not as much capital to get their word out there. Connects are good but this is entertainment, as the internet continues to open up the roads of being famous and successful the less people will fukk with you just because you have famous cosigns.

Cats really in this thread talking about youtube views vs getting more more media opportunties like Desus and Mero are getting (Doing Netflix Anime shows, Vice daily show, podcast, NBA and ESPN features, MTV, Complex)

They werent running their own youtube show like Ak, they was just 2 guys on twitter and people saw the talent, fukk y'all talmbout "Yeah but they dont 300k views like a Ak vid on Tay K breh":mjlol:


Ak tried to diss them first on his twitch and they simply had friendly jokey clapback for him on their illustrious show:sas1:

If anything akademik's bag is more temporary. He's an almost 30 year old man who's entire brand is based around a bunch of dyed-haired teenage drug addicts that beat women. That's a fickle industry. Eventually those 16 year old "chat nikkas" are going to grow up and move on from that bullshyt and younger kids are gonna prop up a younger dude who does what akademiks does but is closer to their generation.

people only pay attention to ak because he reports the hip-hop news, while desus and mero's brand is based on people who legit like their personality and think they're funny.

ak is crying on twitch because he's feels alone in this industry. desus and mero doesn't have those problems. their connections alone are going to make sure they getting checks in entertainment.

I still think nikkas in media beefing with each other is corny af. They dont let nikkaS in that often, everybody should be pulling each other up.
