I'll be honest there were some parts that me and my bro were dying at. The accent could have been much better but... as far as an overall actor... Ildris takes this.
fukk outta here..yall nikkas must be really young or dumb as fukk

Idris is mediocre at best..and i fukks with Luther heavy but son is nowhere near Denzel's level

Don Cheadle..shyt even Larenz Tate>>>Idris

young?

lmao and both these accents are TERRRRIBLE, these movies were hard to watch

:comeon:

He got an academy award nomination for Cry Freedom... and Mighty Quinn is sitting at 88% Fresh reviews with most of the reviews praising his performance.

An accent doesnt = range. There are non actors who can pull off accents.. Does Mike Myers have more range than Denzel and Idris because he can do Scottish, Irish, Austrailian and British accents? LOL...

key word ..."styles" denzel only has 1 style....= no acting range.

I don't know what you mean by 'styles" but he's a method actor along with Daniel Day Lewis, Christian Bale, Dustin Hoffman and a ton of other actors. They all approach their roles differently. For example... DDL is more outwardly and technical. Denzel is more inward and subtle with it, he behaves like the characters instead of acting like them, uses body language and facial expressions to convey thoughts and emotions... ya'll are just used to his mannerisms as you've been watching him for most of his career.. so you assume he's doing the same thing in every role. He's just that good of an actor he makes complex characters like John Creasy look simple. He's an actors actor... there's a reason guys like Jake Gyllenhaal and a ton of other respected actors cite him as their favorite. Plus he's got Tony Awards wins and nominations and you don't get those by being a one dimensional actor with no range
