I just peeped that shyt. How Stephenson, Clarke Central & SW Dekalb 5A?
Clarke and SW Dekalb were 4A before they moved to 6 classes and naturally got stuck in 5A, and Stephenson just missed the cut I think
my old HS was supposed to be in region 1 in 6A but the GHSA let us go into a 5A region because of travel, (Brunswick got completelyfukked over though and the GHSA stuck them boys in region 1)
Its the biggest its ever been in Northern California, well at least in the Central Valley. More area players have been making it into the NFL as late , so more people are taking notice.The competition has caught up with De La Salle. Even though DLS still hasn't lost to a Nor_Cal team since 1990 
It seemed like until five years ago, that it was just Southern California and De La Salle. Not anymore.
There's always been plenty of talent coming from my area but the fanfare has been getting bigger every year since they started doing State Bowl games in CA.

Here in Montgomery, every school is 6A (Carver, Robert E. Lee, Jeff Davis, and Sidney Lanier) thing is Carver the only good team here. Last year Carver ran through the Montgomery schools, hell they beat Jeff Davis 70-0 I think.
And then jeremy johnson threw that pick 6 in the semifinals playoff game

It's isolated to a few fans from a few schools, so no. It's not really a big deal out here. As a matter of fact, once I saw how big it was in TX and FL, I realized high school football doesn't really exist out here.
Ya'll take it so serious in Lowndes County. In North GA, it's serious tho.
