tbh I don't remember what I entered in skype, including my pw, but I was born in 1991(22)...But the point I was trying make is, when I was 17-19 I used to kind of think the same shyt. But within the past couple years, my horizon has expanded quite a bit from taking the simplistic narrative LittleDee is taking...

When I was coming up, I went to a majority black middle and high school at the height of the black Conscious movement. Our schools made sure we not only read and talked about traditional literature, but we were exposed to classic black literature. We had to read Black Boy, Native Son and Malcolm X autobiography etc alongside traditional American literature like Catcher in the Rye. Hell, I remember my whole class going to South Dekalb mall to watch X at the theater.
What's really going on? Are millineals not getting the same type of exposure? I'm genuinely concerned at the racial insecurity of posters on this site. Especially given the age of some of the posters.

Yeah, I don't know what's up with that shyt. I'd like to think it's not a millennial thing since I'm a millennial myself (though I'm an older one...late 20s) but I might be biased since I'm from Detroit and every place I went to school/lived until college was 90+ percent black. Either way, shyt's disgusting. It's like some of these dudes believe and take to heart every negative thing anybody says about black people. Either that or they go in the other direction and overcompensate for their insecurities by trying to act super militant.
I'd like to think it's just trolling or maybe people getting brainwashed by FOX News, but I dunno. I have seen more anti-black sentiment online and in the media since Obama was elected, sadly it seems like some people are really taking it to heart.
You should ask some young black people... all the HS i visit are (obviously) at least 90%+ black... and you wouldn't believe the levels of what you refereed to as racial insecurities.
