Overall I'd give it a 4/5 because these issues don't really detract from the experience, but it's still a shame they missed the opportunity to really make the end-all of science non-fiction (!) space movies (because regardless of what so many reviews claim, it isn't).

No ofense but What does that even mean

This is a movie you HAVE to see in theaters. In 3D. And I don't even like to see movies in 3D.

Definitely.

Unfortunately I was stuck towards the back of my theater...but I'll be seeing it again and sitting way up front :blessed:

Yeah, I was struggle-explaining there but what I meant was to make the most scientifically accurate movie about space ever (can't exactly call it science fiction because they're trying to make the science as real as possible). This movie was well on its way to become that but by making the second half more Hollywood-ish and focusing on spiritual themes it still doesn't fully convince.

Good movie but not as perfect as RT says it is. Basic human struggle story but visually looks amazing and as much as I hate 3D, if you gonna see this make sure it's in 3D.

But is it me or did it bother anyone else how

Clooney was chill as fukk when they were floating in space? I know he has to be the calm one and all but still dude was too chill. Killed the tension for me a bit.

Mindblowing movie, wow. I'm stunned

seen this the other with a female acquaintance (she wanted to see baggage claim, but i talk her out on it), movie is dope, although the storyline to me couldve been better.

For whatever reason I really connected with the movie and had no problems with the story. It wasn't some intellectual "thinking" sci-fi movie. It was more of a visceral experience.

nah breh. I actually really liked the "message" of the movie :manny:

but from a technical perspective the movie was indeed gorgeous, the physics of everything in space was masterfully done.

i saw this close enough to the front that the screen took my entire vision. so i had to turn my head slightly to see the whole picture.

3d.. :wow:

i sat down and originally thought i was too close.. but nah. it worked out real good.
