If you don't see this in 3D don't bother.
Exactly. I actually flinched a couple times because it felt like some of the sh!t that was flying around was going to actually hit me in the face.

anxiety, relief, anxiety, relief, anxiety, reliefDirectorial tour de force, amazing visuals, even better sound direction. Only thing is this is more of a pet project/art house movie. The director is given total reign and isn't hindered by big studio politics. The level of anxiety in the film is unlike anything i have seen since the first Saw...its even more suspenseful than that...the flim is mad skressful brehs
I loved it, the writing is the weakest point.
anxiety, relief, anxiety, relief, anxiety, relief
for the first time in a bit and went to go see this tonight.. regular showing times didn't work out.. so we were like fukk it. let's just do 3d.
clooney was like.. you got to let me go.. let me go.. then he unhooked himself
i saw this close enough to the front that the screen took my entire vision. so i had to turn my head slightly to see the whole picture.
3d..
i sat down and originally thought i was too close.. but nah. it worked out real good.
Was gonna type the same shyt. Like literally
i know...but
did anyone catch that shot when she first got into the airlock and the space tether looks like an umbilical cord and the whole fetal imagery in general in that shot was masterful

[/spoilers]She was basically dead inside after losing her daughter, and after such an experience, she learned to live again. There are several scenes that symbolize childbirth.
When she was floating around alone in space and Clooney picks her up, that's like the sperm meeting the egg for conception. When she's in the cockpit floating in a fetal position, it's like she's in the womb; even the air tube looks like an umbilical cord. Going through reentry was like going into labor. Her struggle to escape the sinking pod was like childbirth. When she made it onto land, she had to first learn to crawl, then stand, then walk on her own. Finally she is able to live in the world again.
don't forget life of pie..that was a dope dope movie visually.Watched it on a Real IMAX screen in 3D
The most amazing Visuals since avatar, in some ways even better
the suspense is amazing...
Crazy tho, I used to wonder what would happen in a situation with space debris and our space equipment
The only way to really enjoy this movie to me is on a big screen in 3D.
Imax 3D was piff
