Is Gravity really that good?

Yea I just saw it, this movie was made for 3D, they really took advantage of the technology. As far as story goes, it was pretty straight Foward but where this movie excels is how tense it was. You never knew what was gonna happen next and when it was gonna happen.. I strongly reccomend you go see this... As a matter of fact everyone in this thread should go see this movie, assuming you at in here because you are interested and not just to hate

It was pretty good, but you have to see this in 3D otherwise it's not worth it. It felt at times that was the whole point behind the movie, just to show a technical exercise in 3D film making similar to what film students do or those demos they release to show a consoles graphical capabilities

And this is the main reason why I will not go see Gravity. Everything I've heard about it screams Open Water and I hated that movie...

"the visuals the visuals"

98% of movies with great "visuals" gets hyped up by y'all and it turns out being a huge let down when i go see it. i'll wait until this comes out on dvd.

i have a huge 3d projector at the house, so i'll be waiting for the blu-ray release

If you don't see this in 3D don't bother.

that means that the movie in no way deserves a 10 rating. that means the story isn't strong enough to stand on its own without 3D.​
