This is the problem with hiring your legends, eventually, you'll have to fire them.
Fam he ain’t ever averaging 20-25 in the league lol quit itDidn't reach the growth spurt expected of him and stalled in his development which was him and his father's fault. Compared to what the hype was for him a couple of years ago i would say that he's well on his way to earning that label. But STILL i wish the best for him and hope he at least becomes a 20-25 ppg scorer in the league eventually.
Cam was a good defender and really athletic and showed flashes of being pretty good,Emoni literally hasn’t showed a damn thing at MemphisCam Reddish was utter dogshyt at Duke, shot 35% from the field and still went 10th overall.
Man that wasn’t even it,Cam was solid at Duke,if Cam went to a subpar high major school and they put the ball in his hands with no Zion and RJ,Cam would’ve averaged 25 a night, him and Emoni is no comparisonLuckily for Cam, he could fall back on his last HS season and I guess scouts felt like he wasn't given the best opportunity with Zion and RJ hogging. I could see a team doing what the Spurs did with Josh Primo and reach and hope it pans out.

This ain’t gonna help Penny…. HE built this team with young kids that don’t know how to play… but I know where he is coming from. He recruited names and hype but this ain’t AAU they are going up against grown men that have developed bodies and experience.
but maybe he should stop recruiting rappers to hang around and perform in preseason games and actually figure out ways to put the boys in position to prosper… cussing out the local media WILL get him run out of town. Memphis LIVES hoops and won’t except this bullshyt they are putting on the floor.
Yeah I saw that interview and now he's on ESPN for the wrong reasons. He's giving excuses that they're young but he's forgetting that he recruited every player on that team. It's been four years and winning the NIT isn't going to cut it. They can cut some amazing pre season promo videos but you gotta get some wins to back it up. So it all comes back to him
The local news media (outside of newspapers) is shielding him and not even acknowledging the press conference, so he'll be fine "for now." Plus, The Grizzles performance this season is taking away from the Tigers horrible season.
This is what I don't understand why he went after the local media.
They have been nice to him IMO. I hope they start applying pressure after this press conference.
The only person that rip him is Gary Parrish and that's mild compared to what happens in other cities around the country.
