Y’all making some bold statements out the gate. It’s too early for that

Edit: I just checked his stats:patrice:… it’s still kinda early man

A perimeter player that isn't fast, can't defend, has a low 30 inch vertical, t-rex arms, bad decision making and isn't a playmaker is hard to project as being succesful. U better shoot the lights out like Steph and Klay. His dad completely fukked him over too. :francis:

meh that kind of line of thinking is dead with teams now. if that was the case, BJ Boston and Sharife would have been lotto picks. At this point, no one touching Emoni with a lotto pick. He has horrendous measurements, bad decision making and his best skill which was supposed to be scoring, he can't even do that.

For his sake, he needs to transfer or go the g-league route and redeem himself like Marjon Beauchamp did
Cam Reddish was utter dogshyt at Duke, shot 35% from the field and still went 10th overall. :yeshrug:

Purposely created his AAU team to only feature Emoni and had Emoni shooting 35x a game and everyone else's purpose was to pass him the ball. Created a prep team for Emoni and kicked off a talented teammate off the team because he disagreed with the philosophy of Emoni vs everyone else. He attacks scouts and reporters online if they say anything he deems negative about Emoni. He's essentially what people thought Lavar was but he's way worse. Lavar put his kids in a position to succeed.

Luckily for Cam, he could fall back on his last HS season and I guess scouts felt like he wasn't given the best opportunity with Zion and RJ hogging. I could see a team doing what the Spurs did with Josh Primo and reach and hope it pans out.

It's not him, it's Penny.

Boogie Ellis is exhibit A.

:yeshrug:

I think it’s him… they played way better while he was out. He doesn’t look the same when he isn’t playing younger, undersized nobodies.

a lot of these teenage celebrity hoopers are in for a rude awakening when it’s gonna be time to play serious organized situational hoops

Breh, Penny was having these same problem before Emoni.

Turnovers and poor shooting has been a problem for 4 seasons now.

I had the same feelings about Boogie Ellis until he went to USC with a real coach.

He just need to get away from Penny.

Same with Jalen Duren.

the tigers don’t have a Point guard to feed Duren , Bates doesn’t know how to execute plays he is used to going one on 5.

Ellis would have been a monster on this team and to a lesser extent even Kennedy Chandler…

it’s ironic that Penny hasn’t been able to lock down a PG in all this time. He has only recruited size and athleticism.
