against all odds is a much better song, and I love drop a gem on em.
Impact matters when it comes to diss tracks, this is a perfect song on a perfect album....but as a diss it had 0 impact, so nah.
@mobbinfms don't throw a tv at me you still the bro
There's an unreleased diss to Pac?
It was released to mixtapes right before Pac died. It was going to be the first single for HOE, but they had to pull it because Pac died. Imagine if they would have had a LA LA style video dissing Pac
There was also another song with an even more foul diss that they pulled from the album.
All I know is, Pac said his little Slick shyt and acted real funny on Hit Em Up
Then P came through and completely destroyed him on Drop A Gem On Em
Prodigy won the battle and it isn’t even close. Nothing after that counted because Pac was dead and Prodigy couldn’t respond.
So the Rikers Island rape was duck tales?it was a great song but a weak diss. Nothing they said was scathing or hurt Pac. They just made fun of him getting robbed and told a bunch of ducktales threats.
Not even close this response wasn't nowhere close to hit me up or Bomb First... Tha beat hard though
Song is dope but I had no idea it was about Pac initially.
The only hint was the Vibe comment, because Vibe had the song early and mentioned Mobb Deep accusing them of riding Pac's dikk. Then obviously towards the end of the song it got more obvious.
Anyway, no.
Fred.
Everybody knew they were taking about Pac. It wasn’t a subliminal diss. What you’re sayin makes no sense because if they were scared of Pac they wouldn’t have responded at all. They didn't even have the balls to say 2pacs name
Niggggggaaaaa
They reference his acting, juice, Bishop, the rape on Rikers, what else did you want?
Go back and listen to it again my man."Juice" and Bishop?
You talking about "In The Long Run?"
Fred.
