DLC started with the release of the most demonic system in the history of consoles, xbox 360. Because of the xbox marketplace we are subject to dlc. Because of PC DEVS like those fakkits that made Oblivion, we have DLC. Tryin to tell you these cac pc devs fukked up gaming when Sony had the model locked and sewn. But this is you xbots flagship company. The one who abuses you. Stockholm syndrome. Microsoft is the pioneer of microtransactions in gaming. We have no one else to blame for this business model. But you fakkits eat it up. Paying money for content thats already on disc.

If MS had gone with something other than DVD we wouldn't have this problem or at least gave everyone a big enough hard drive so that you can install the games and not be hurt by multiple discs on the 360. But again this is the same company charging nikkaz to use their own connections to play online and nikkaz thought that was cool...

It really depends on the game. Not gonna lie, I only got DLC for two games in my life. Bad Company 2 Vietnam and Gundam Extreme Vs, I am very happy with those decisions.

*sees Capcom announce Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.....with 12 new characters and 9 new stages* for $40

*sees complete alternate costume pack for $20*

before steam and DLC/DRM PC game makers used to give out map packs for free...

Infinity Ward gave out all of the map packs for COD4 for free

since then $15 a pack...
