Impressive punishing back but no he isn't....

Barry Sanders
LT
Marshall Faulk
Peterson

I'm not so sure he's better than the Shawn Alexander's, Curtis Martin's, and Marshawn Lynch's of the world either right now either.

We can revisit this conversation in 3-4 years because barring injuries his career is on a high trajectory. Right now he hasn't been doing it long enough yet. If you want to look at the numbers guys like Nick Chubb, Dalvin Cook, CMC (when healthy) are pretty much just as good by the numbers.

Very interesting...

Coli Football gone have to explain to me how the white boy in Kansas City gets all this knee jerk, reactionary love, with most people voting him as the best QB yall ever seen after just 2.5 years starting......but Henry with the same skin in the game dominating his position the same way, 90% of you are voting no...

Hmmm...Coli Football says fukk the All-Time quarterbacks, Mahomes is better than all of them, but with Henry, its "slow down, too many RBs who did it for longer"...

One mic or oochie wally, never change, Coliseum. Never change...

I'm 20 and my answer is no

Adrian Peterson >
LaDainian Tomlinson >

shyt i've seen better from a HB who played for that same team

He's no Tomlinson

Including receiving and blocking i'd put Westbrook over Henry too
Henry is the scariest big back since prime Brandon Jacobs tho

This thread is reactionary as hell... Henry has never even been considered the best back in the NFL for any given season, much less being the best I've seen

Dalvin is a better and so is healthy CMC

I'd say there are two key differences. One is Henry isn't doing anything we haven't seen others do. Throughout league history there has always been a RB or sometimes two...shyt sometimes 3 doing he's doing or close to it. He stands out because people don't run the ball the like that anymore. Also, he struggled out the gate. He was trending towards bust status until he had that break out game on Thursday night a couple years ago. Mahommes came out the gate doing different shyt. I think he's still gotta do it over time to be called GOAT but these are two totally different convos.

Nahhhhhh I wouldnt say all that.

Hes been the best Back in the league going on 2 years now. Dalvin and CMC are more versatile but Henry is delivering all of this impact just by running the ball. Not pass catching or none of that. Tanny out here looking like a top 10 QB off of Derricks back. And they dont play in a scrub division either. Honestly, I think the Titans are going back to the AFC title game.

Not to mention, they say one of the best skills is availability. And out of him, Cook, CMC, Chubb, etc., he's the only one who hasn't had any extended time out like that for real.

Nah, he better than Shawn Alexander. You doing too much.
You acting like Alexander wasn't an MVP and offensive player of the year and didn't rush for a over 1,500 yards multiple seasons.

Henry might be better, but it isn't a far fetched comparison either.

You acting like I said LenDale White > Derrick Henry or some far fetched BS like that.

Shaun Alexander was a product of his oline and probably one of the most overrated rbs that were productive. Doesn't mean he didn't deserve the mvp, but talent wise he isn't up there with others. Once that oline fell apart, he was pedestrian as hell. Right there with Priest Holmes as one of the biggest running products of their olines. But at least Priest was a beast catching the ball.

I thought of his name when that is Matt Ryan the worst player to have won mvp thread came up.
