It's the all-pro teams that baffled me then.

Ok - I just went and looked back at the stats. Yeah, I'm not seeing it. I didn't realize it was like that, 12th-13th in yds, in 20s in YPC. But some of these names, I've long forgotten. Natrone Means, Rashaan Salaam, Karim Abdul-Jabbar, Ericc Rhett, Dorsey Levens, Curtis Enis (PSU). robert smith...sheesh
Its because he was showing early signs of being a beast as a receiver. He was getting 50-60 catches a season. In Faulk's last year in Indy, he had 86 receptions.

Faulk was a great player in Indy, but those Colts teams were terrible his last couple of seasons. There was nothing "good" or average about his play in Indy. I am not sure if you are old enough, but the league lost its mind when the Colts traded him to St. Louis. It was a huge story, and was why the Rams were seen as a sleeper Super Bowl team in 1999.

Another 200 yard game yesterday, but he's just on the level of Shaun Alexander.:mjlol:.

I'm not one that gets caught up in the moment, but Henry is definitely one of the best I've ever seen, period.
He's looking like the stats of shaun prime years :wow:

Seriously he probably top 10

Neal Anderson was a beast for da bearz

The 1989 and 90 seasons (especially 1990) were some of the best seasons all around I have ever seen a RB have. Anderson was basically the bears entire offense and paid a price for it. Cause he basically got ran / catch passes, run blocked and pass blocked his body into the ground. He was never the same after that the 1990 season (had hamstring injuries the following year). Think the 1990 season he played half the year with cracked ribs, pulled hamstring, banged up knee and a banged up shoulder. Dude was a straight up warrior. And from 1989 and 1990 he and Thurman Thomas were considered 1a and 1b as the best all around RBs in the game.
