That’s not how it works breh, especially considering how I’ve never thought of it until now. Coming into Knowledge of Self last decade and actually sitting through listening to the lyrics and messages of these artists and their work in addition to my interest in Afrofuturism is what’s giving me that reason. Prior to that, it never crossed my mind. This quarantine has definitely been making my energy tap into creativity I didn’t know I had, especially when my sister just had me and the whole fam do our own lil paint & sip last month.
